PROBABLE FUTURITY CONTESTANTS. The last declaration from the Futurity of tills year fell due July 15. At that time 275 colts and fillies were eligible. This nuniler has certainly been greatly cut down by the last declaration. How many have been left in will not be made public for a few days, but it is not likely that many of the established good two-year-olds are without a chance to start and in that respect the race now presents a satisfactory aspect. In the list eligible before the final declaration were the names of Horace E.. Water Pearl, Jack Atkin. Ballot, Peter Pan, le Mund, Mentha, Oran, Charles Edward, Dick Fln-Qiell, Okenite, Boseniount, Misgivings, Pauiuonok, Golf Ball, Yankee Gun, Altuda, Faust, MeCarter, Toddles, Charles G. Gates, Electioneer and Frank Gill, besides a number of highly bred ones that have probably been reserved especially for the Futurity and will be given the customary educational course of racing at the Saratoga meeting. The race will he run September 1 and will be unusually interesting to western admirers of racing because of Horaee E. and Jack Atkin being among the almost certain starters.
