THIRTY LEADING JOCKEYS. Of the thirty jockeys leading in number of winning mounts, J. Reid made the greatest progress in the course of the past two weeks by finishing In front nineteen times, actually scoring more wins in the two weeks than he had in the remainder of tlie year previously. Whether this marks the blossoming of a rider of real skill or was only a bit of luck remains to be seen. Next to him was .T. Howard: witli twelve wins. No others obtained double figures, but V. Powers, McGce and Musgravo. witli nine winners each, were not far away from doing so. The records of the thirty leaders are: Last Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp.P.C.Wks. V.
