The added money for tiio Great Filly Stakes of 1911 will be ,500. which N one-half the amount which it was customary to add during the more prosperous days of tlie turf. Tlie , ,000 to be added for .the Futurities and Lawrence J Realizations of 1911 and 1912 represents a cut !nf J ,000 in each instance, but will leave both stake m with as much as was added to them ten years ago. when they were respectively the most valtiuhle two- J year-old and three-year-old races run on this sldo of the Atlantic. The Futurities and Realizations of 1911 and 1912 will not attract as many nominations as thev drew between 19C0 and 1908. liecause a number of valu able broodmares have been sent out of the country, but they will draw enough to make them big events.
