BE FRANK TRAINING FOR FORCOFFROTH COFFROTH HANDICAP HANDICAPTIJUANA TIJUANA RACE TRACK Mexico Feb ¬ ruary 11 As has been his custom for the six years the Tijuana track has been op ¬ erated George P Fuller wellknown Cali ¬ fornia paint magnate who devotes much time to the racing of thoroughbreds has arrived for his annual sojourn sojournMr Mr Fullers horses were raced in the East last summer with a fair amount of success but as Tijuana was his first venture in the race game he declares that he feels much more at home with his horses racing here than at the big metropolitan tracks tracksJust Just shortly before Mr Fullers arrival his Bronx Stable scored a signal victory when Sunnyland romped home to win the Tijuana Claiming Stakes The stable also retains the grand campaigner Be Frank winner of the Coffroth Handicap in 1921 1921Be Be Frank still is a good horse and we have been going along at an easy rate in training him said Mr Fuller when dis ¬ cussing horses at a clubhouse luncheon the other day Be Frank will again be entered in the 30000 Coffroth Handicap of March 25 He is a difficult horse to get on a fine edge but when once in condition he has so much speed and endurance that it takes a mighty good horse to beat him over a long distance of ground groundA A big charging son of Sir John Johnson which sent many good sons and daughters to the races Be Frank is capable of carrying heavy weight with success One has only to recall his burden of 130 pounds when he won the Coffroth Handicap two years ago
