ENTRIES FOR THE SPECIAL List Includes Mad Play, Little Chief, Chacolet, Giblon, Thunderclap, Sarazen and Others. HAWTHORNE RACE TRACK, Aug. 16. Billy Mycr arrived home today from a hurried trip to Saratoga and Fort Erie, where he had gone in the interest of the Chicago Special to be run next Saturday. He brought with him the entries of the Rancocas stable in the special and Labor day Handicap, the entries of Max Hirsch. Audley Farm stable, Hal Price lleadley and others. "I found the greatest interest in the Hawthorne meeting wherever I went," he said, "and breeders and horsemen are delighted with its success. All agree that it marks a new era in western racing and next year will see the best grade of horses racing at Hawthorne." The Audley farm stable will be shipped from Saratoga this afternoon. In the same car will come King Solomons Seal, an intended starter in the Special. The Audley Farm string will consist of 14 horses including Princess Dorcen which is entered in the Special. Hal Price Headley telegraphed that Chacolet, Hopeless and Pyroot were shipped from Fort Erie Saturday afternoon and will reach the track some time Sunday. Spot Cash came out of the Dominion Handicap a trifle sore and will not be shipped to Hawthorne. Little Chiefs race at Saratoga Friday shows that the horse is Hearing his top form and there are many who pick him as the winner of the Special. The formal entries of Giblon and Glide were also made yesterday and up to last night the complete list of entries included Chacolet, Hopeless, King Solomons Seal, Mad Hatter, Thunderclap, Bracadale, Mad Play, Stanwix, Pricemaker, Laveen, Postillion, Tip Toe Inn, Little Chief, Sarazen, Princess Doreen, Glide, The Runt, Fredericktown, Giblon, Polvo, Boy O Boy, Red Wingfield, Bel-phrizonia.
