Won driving; second and third the same. COLFIN raced in nearest pursuit from the start and, under a good ride through the stretch, outstayed DEVIL GIRL. The latter was outpaced in the early running, but came fast through the stretch end was going fastest at the end. GREAT LADY showed the most early speed, but began tiring after reaching the stretch. MOON MAGIC, saving much ground on the stretch turn after coming frcm far back with a rush, was going fast at the end. LOUIS RUBENSTEIN raced in closest and game pursuit to the last sixteenth and finished gamely, but tiring. OIL BURNER began tiring near the end. SPECIAL tired after going a half mile. RED WINGFIELD, racing kindly, moved up steadily after going a half mile and came fast through the stretcfi CANNON SHOT moved up fast in the last quarter and was going well at the end. SANOLA moved up steadily after going a half mile and lost ground by coming wide into the stretch, but finished fast and gamely and outstayed THE RUNT. The latter ran a good race and finished resolutely. MARIONETTE raced forwardly for the entire race and outstayed BRUNSWICK in the final strides. BRUNSWICK showed much speed and set a fast pace, but began tiring after reaching the last eighth. QUINCE GARDEN ran well and had no mishaps. MOSS FOX II. was away poorly and far back throughout and can do much better. Scratched S0S63 Better Luck, 120; 82234 Kings Ransom, 100; 82173Lady Fox, 97. KIT tired slightly in the last sixteenth. SAGAMOOK ran a bad race and was always far back. The latter also began slowly and was rushed up into the lead after going three-quarters, but began tiring near the end. YORICK tired, but outstayed JACK FROST. The latter showed the most speed to the stretch and tired. POWER was done after going three-quarters. ROCKY MOUNTAIN quit badly. Overweights Yorick, 1 pound; Power, 2; Vanishing Boy, 1.
