PAT IN THE LAST STRIDE Gets Decision Over Glenister H. in Principal Offering at Ak-Sar-Ben Field. OMAHA. Neb., June 28. Pat and Glenister II. staged an exciting battle in the fifth and feature race of todays Ak-Sar-Ben program and the former got the decision by a narrow margin. Five went to the post and Centimeter and Tamarind set the pace, but they quit when the stretch was reached and Pat came along with a last-minute rush which carried him to victory. Prisoner was third. The day was very warm, and one of the smallest gatherings of the meeting witnessed the sport. Rock Bottom took the first race from John Hoshor and Little Hope, while Bonnie Marguerite, the favorite, took a small band of two-year-olds into camp in the second. The third race fell to the greatly improved Etta N., which had failed to show anything before today, and the fourth race was won by the long-priced Silent Lillian.
