BENISII WAY raced close up to the stretch and was being forced to race outside of the leaders, but bolted out on the stretch turn and lost considerable ground, then ftflM again and got up to win in the last sixteenth. LADY CAPULET raced close up throughout and. finishing gamely, outstayed PLAY FLOWER. The latter showed the most early speed and ra cd well all the way. SUPER ROCK finished gamely. BULLSEYE was saved through the first two turns of the field, then moved up fast after taking the eighteenth jump and finished gamely. COURT JESTER HI. was made entirely too much use of in pacemaking and tired. FATHER TOM was allowed to race far back early and was never troublesome. RUINE was always far back. cl.AME appeared best, but was poorly ridden nnd fell at the final jump while racing gamely. DRAGON PE VERTU and BARB WIRE foil at the last jump.
