Start good and slow. AVon handily: second and third driving. ALTIMETEB, close up from the start, saved much ground when entering the stretch and raced into a clear lend, then swerved over against MEl FOO, but outfinished him in the final drive. The latter was shuffled back at the start and improved his position steadily, but appeared to be in close quarters in the final sixteenth. KOPECK showed the most early speed, but ran out when entering the stretch. CRASH was close up all the way and had no mishaps. AVon driving: second and third the same. REPLEVIN raced close up on the outside from the start, responded to hard riding in the stretch and outfinished DOLAN in the final drive. The latter showed the most speed nearly all the way and saved ground where possible, but tired in the final strides. VACATION was weakly ridden and raced well on his own courage. WEE BERN raced close up and ran a good race. LEYI.AND ran well and had no mishaps. OlSEAU DOR ran fairly well. RETALIATE was always outrun and lost mm U around when entering the stretch. CRLEN FIRE unseated her rider while on the way to the post, but was quickly caught and raced fairly well. FANCY STAR was on the inside and could not get up. OUR SALLY ANN and PARTNERSHIP were left.
