John Carey is due here tonight to superintend t e shipment of horses going from here to Omaha, Neb. Jockey Jeffries, who resumed riding here yesterday after an illness of over a week, will depart for Kansas City. A. Goldblatt, with jockey T. Francis, were visitors today. Jockey E. Shorpshirc, who is under contract to Carter Everett, was in Chicago today. One of the largest stables racing there is negotiating for the purchase of his contract. For violating the track rules jockey II. Hay was set down yesterday for ten days, and ex-jockey K. Noe, who has been acting as his agent, has been denied admission to the grounds.
