■ i ■ ! • I GEORGE F. DOBSON KILLED NEW YORK. N. Y., May 9.— George F. Dobscn, secretary of the Metropolitan Jockey Club, which operates the Jamaica track, was killed in a fall from the seventh story window of his apartment here Tues-: day morning. Mrs. Dobson, who was in another room at the time, could not explain the accident. Mr. Dobson, for many years managing editor the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, resigned the position seven years ago when he became associated with the Metropolitan Jockey Club. He was seventy-seven years old. Bsides the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Thompson of Brooklyn, a son, George F. Dobson and a grand son, George F. Dobson III., of Camden, N. J., survive the deceased.
