LACE set a fast pace from the start, raced TANTIVY and CLAPTRAP into defeat and nut finished SUN FORWARD in the final drive. SUN FORWARD was •ntpeced in the early running, but saved much ground when entering the stretch and finished fast on the inside. INDIAN SCOUT came to the outside when entering the stretch and finished with a rush. FAIR BALL began slowly and closed a big gap on the outside. TANTIVY showed speed, but tired. CAROLER was eased up when he tired. VACATION had no mishaps. BASK aait MORDICUS attempted to savage JUNETTA while at the barrier and pulled her saddle cloth loose.
