jTHORNCLIFFE TRACK NOTEst ,V Cj» TORONTO, Ont., May 29. Jockey L. Shaefer left tonight for Belmont Tark to ride Dunkirk for his employer, W. J. Salmon. At the conclusion of the meeting here Joseph McLennan goes to New York in the interests of the Montreal Jockey Clubs meeting at Blue Bonnets. The sprinter Reputation came out of his race yesterday in bad shape. He was jumped on just after passing the three-eighths post and the sheaf of the tendon on his off hind leg severed. The horse is under the care of Dr. Black and will be out of commission for some time, if he is saved at all. Trainer J. Simon Healy left for New York this morning, but will return to Ottawa for the Connaught Park Jockey Club meeting. W. Wick, owner of Northern Pass and other horses here, was an arrival from New York. Wash Norvell. secretary at Long Branch, was a busy man yesterday, straightening out the stall proposition. He reports many applications for stabling room from Louisville. *-
