9 ERVAST MAY RETURN WEST LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 23.— Baron Longs Ervast, which has been ill for the past three days, ran a slight temperature yesterday, according to Walter Fenwick. his trainer. No improvement was noted this morning. Fenwick is satisfied that it will be impossible to ship the colt from here for some time and when he recovers he probably will be returned to Mr. Longs California ranch, where he will be turned out until time to prepare him for campaigning at Tijuana next winter.
