EASTERN STABLES COMING « Arlington Park Magnet for Great Seaboard Establishments. _ « Chicagoans to See Many famous Colors Car- ried in Races for First Time This Year. 1 Judging by the exceedingly large number of requests for stable room at Arlington Park pouring into the offices of the American National Jockey Club, from Belmont Tark and Louisville, every stable of prominence now being raced at those centers will participate in the meeting that opens July 1. Applications from the East, in particular, are numerous, and include many racing establishments that have heretofore not been raced outside of New York and Saratoga. Their presence at Arlington Park will give that picturesque and magnificent plant a truly metropolitan aspect and add much interest to the meeting. Conspicuous among the Easterners who have signified an intention of having representation at Arlington Park are Harry Payne Whitney, Rancocas Stable, W. R. Coe, G. D. Widener, R. T. Wilson, W. J. Salmon, Fox-catcher Farms, Max Hirsch, Glen Riddle Farm, R. F. Carman, W. S. Kilmer, Rosedale Stable, Earl Sande. Sagamore Stable, Dixiana Farm, Walter M. Jeffords, Arden Farms, Gifford A. Cochran, H. T. Archibald, J. R. Macomber, Jacques Stable, Robert L. Gerry, Dorwood Stable. M. and A. Schwartz, William Woodward, C. V. B. Cushman, Loma Stable, E. B. McLean, Joseph E. Widener, and the division of the Audley Farm Stable in charge of Miller Henderson. Arlington Park will also draw heavily upon the best stables racing in the West and in Canada. Included in the number are Keeneland Stud, Nevada Stock Farm, D. E. Stewart, Stuyvesant Peabody, Clyde Van Dusen, L. Gentry, T. P. Hayes, O. W. and E. J. Lehman. C. C. Van Meter, Cal Milam, H. Massey, George Collins, J. M. Goode, P. T. Chinn "Rome" Respess, Sewell Combs, E. K. Bryson, R. L. Baker, Polk Laffoon, Shady Brook Farm, Seagram Stable, Kenton Farm Stable, Val Crane, Norman W. Church, E. R. Bradley, Wm. Maher, Walter Grater, T. C. McDowell, George M. Hendrie, J. W. Marchbank, Sunshot Stable, Serenata Farm, Mrs. E. Denemark, Dan Lehan, J. W. Parrish, Le Mar Stock Farm, W. S. Dudley, I. B. Bradfield, C. W. Bidwill, E. F. Prichard, V. Sutro, O. A. Bianchi and L. M. Severson. Arlington Park will be fortunate the coming meeting because of the fact that it will be the only important meeting in the West after July 6. when both Latonia and Fairmount conclude their seasons. That is one of several reasons why horsemen are sending in their requests for stabling room in such large numbers. • .
