BOBBIE DOYLE forced the pace to the far turn, then raced past OWL into the lead and gamely held sway to the end. OLD TOM raced on the outside close up. began tiring in the last eighth, hut came again at the end, outfinishing OWL. The latter showed the most early speed, tired when headed by the winner, hut stayed strongly in the late stages. CHICOLA had no mishaps and failed to threaten. HIGH SPOT seemed hindered in the going, but closed ground in the last three-eighths. GARRISON tired. NONDAGA threw his rider at the post before the start. Scratched— 36244sPriceless. HER ANSWER liked the going and showed the most speed and raced into a big lead, hut tired in the final eighth. WESTERN EAGLB saved ground all the way, had no mishaps and held the others safe. ISOARD raced into the lead under restraint on the inside, kept BIG SINK and KNOW-ME GNOME safe to the stretch, then drew away easily to win in a canter. KNOW-ME-GNOME liked the going and raced prominently and. holding on gamely in the final drive, outgamed BIG SINK. The latter challenged ISOARD repeatedly, hut could not overtake the latter and raced well to the end. BLACK BART had no mishaps and was outrun.
