s New Track for Tulsa Result of Favorable Decision in Court £ - $, TULSA. Okla., May 23.— A beautiful new mile track, with a suitable club house and other improvements, estimated to cost 50,-000, is expected to be built at the State Fair Grounds, as the result of Judge Tom G. Chambers decision in Oklahoma City yesterday. Judge Chambers refused to stop the stock sales system of the Capital City Kennel Club, and in his opinion ruled that "Oklahoma has no statute which prohibits betting on horse or dog races. It had a law but that was suspended." The plan to spend 50,000 in providing for a first-class racing plant at the Fair Grounds was outlined by William P. Kyne, general manager of the Tulsa Jockey Club, in a telegram to the Tribune sports editor, who notified Mr. Kyne of the Oklahoma City decision. Mr. Kyne is laying plans for a banner meeting in the fall, bringing horses from Chicago, Kentucky, St. Louis, Kansas City and Canada. The court decision has given him new encouragement in his efforts to make the fall program the largest and most extensive since he first became identified with the sport in this city. Mr. Kyne is in Chicago for a few days attending to personal business, but plans to return to Tulsa next week. *
