PICKEREL displayed good speed throughout and held the race safe all during the stretch rnn. FAIR GIRL, always close up, finished gamely and was much the best of the rest. FACE CREAM tired after reaching the stretch and was doing his best to stall off MATTIE B. The latter, force d to work her way up on the outside, finished gamely. BAVELLE FRONK foreeel the early pace, took command midway of the stretch and drew away into an easy lead thereafter. VERBENA, prominent throughout, held second safe at the end. PARACHUTB, away in a tangle, worked her way up in close quarters on the inside and finished gamely. BLUE ROSE, away slowly, came fast on the outside through the stretch. JACK OLEEN saved ground while rounding the turn for home, but was blocked when he attempted to come through next to the inner rail midway of the stretch.
