t WASHINGTON PARK NOTES f $ - — 1 4 HOMEWOOD, 111., May 28. Tom Young stated that he expected a shipment from Lexington, including eight horses, which make up the stable of Roy Carruthers, in charge of trainer W. Grater. Stabling room at Washington Park is still held in reserve for the horses of the Coldstream Stud Stable, which are expected to be shipped here from Churchill Downs, in care of trainer F. M. Taylor. Another big band of racers that are expected from Louisville is that of Mrs. E. Denemark, in charge of trainer R. T. Watts, headed by the sprinter Blackwood. It is likely that this stables Frances Milward will be left behind at Churchill Downs, the filly being an intended starter in the Kentucky Oaks. Dave Vita toe brought over three from Aurora, Veneita M., Ham, and Garrison, and found stabling room for them at the Home-wood track. J. W. Joode had to take quarters at Lincoln Fields for his two horses, lied Spider and Sag.-mook. Starter Harry Morissey added Caruso and Tariff to the schooling list. Jockeys A. Anderson, H. Erickson, V. Reilly and A. Ambrose also applied for licenses at Washington Park. , — «
