INSPECTS MARE AND FOAL LEXINGTON, Ky., May 28.— Charles E. Durnell, trainer of the Three Ds Stock* Farm Stable, was a Sunday visitor to William Lee Nutters Walnut Home Farm for the purpose of seeing the mare Firewater half-sister to Current, by Omar Khayyam, and her fine brown colt foal by Bradleys Toney, which stallion is owned by Mrs. Durnell and standing at Walnut Home Farm, which also is headquarters for Lord Granite, owned by John C. Schanck, president of the Hawthorne track. Durnell drove back to Louisville tonight. He is shipping from there a second carload of horses to be raced in the Eaat with Fred McElroy as trainer.
