ROSE OF SHARONS WORKOUT LOUISVILLE, Ky.. May 28.— Rose of Sharon, winner of the Ashland Oaks at Lexington and candidate of J. N. Camden for the renewal of the Kentucky Oaks here Saturday, yesterday morning worked a mile easily over the sloppy track in 1 :41%. She was timed in :23 for the quarter, :48% for a half mile and 1 :15% for the three-quarters. Lady Broadcast, Rogers Caldwells entry for the same stake, traversed a like distance in 1 :43 and with equal ease. The fractionals for her trial: :24, :45. :49%.
