Kilmers trainer, Andrew Blakely, wiring from New York to Joseph McLennan, racing secretary, announced that he would send Mint Friary to start at Washington Park, Saturday, June 22, in the Illinois Oaks. This race, having an added value of 0,000, calls for one mile and an eighth. The nominations in this race numbered sixty-two. Blakelys message also staled that he would send Sun Beau, to start Saturday, June 29, in the Frances S. Peabody Memorial, a feature with 0,000 added, distance one mile and a quarter. Sun Hatter will carry the Kilmer silks in the Robert M. Sweitzer Handicap Saturday, June 1, over one mile and an eighth.
