ZEV FILLY TO START SOON Zevesgold Is Expected to Make Washington Park Debut in Debutante Stakes. After a conference relating to the Decoration Day feature, the Debutante Stakes, for two-year-old fillies, distance five and one-half furlongs, it was announced that Thursdays star attraction would present a field of high merit, topped, in all probability, by the Rancocas Stables Zevesgold, brown daughter of Zev — Rowesgold. Trainer John Lowes high opinion of Zevesgold is justified by reason of her speed, displayed before and since her arrival at Washington Park with twenty-one others of the band carrying the silks of Harry F. Sinclair. Others in the likely lineup of the Debutante Stakes will be R. E. Careys Angela Lavin, a chestnut beauty, by Judge C. W. Hays Pai-cines, the dam being Cousin Emma ; W. R. Coes fast Friarbell, by Friar Rock — Lady Belle ; Coldstream Studs Wild Waters, by Wildair — Watersmeet; French Lick Springs Stables Miss Evat, by Hephaistos — Daisy Piatt ; Hal Price Headleys Supryse, by Su-premus — Eyes of Youth ; Jones Stock Farms Seths Queen, by Seth-Tze Lsi ; John Marschs Belle Rive, by Flittergold — Dicks Daughter ; Rancocas Stables Capture, by Bud Lerner — Jura ; Stone and Ruckers Lucile, by Sweep — Nettie Hastings. The outline, regarded as nearly complete at this time, may be altered. Nominations for the Debutante, which carries ,000 added value, closed with ninety-four nominations. The Coldstream Stud, J. J. Coughlin, Fox-catcher Farms, Le Mar Stock Farm and Rancocas Stable were the most liberal in sending in entries, the last having entered six. i • I . I I . . , I I . . .
