v . I DUFFERIN PARK NOTES ! * # TORONTO. Out.. June 22. Jockey Ross Duggan. who has been riding in splendid form at the Dufferin meeting, will leave for Mt. Royal on Sunday. Duggan can ride at 104 pounds and his services will most likely be in demand at the Montreal meeting. Further examir.ation of W. Mimdens arm, which was thought broken, showed nothing more than severe lacerations and bruises and he was able to resume riding today. W. Kelly, custodian of the jockeys room at Dufferin, departs tonight for Montreal to prepare the jockeys room at Mt. Royal. He will leave Montreal on Tuesday to be on hand for the opening at Devonshire. Racing secretary M. N. Mcfarlane wishes to instruct horsemen who contemplate campaigning at Devonshire not to ship to that track unless stalls have b?en already allotted them. All stalls have been been given out and many will be forced to seek stabling room elsewhere. W. Munden. who suffered an injury to his arm Friday, made an attempt to ride today, but after piloting Cliftons Maid in the opener was unable to finish out his days engagements owing to the pain. Jockeys Munden and C. Phillips were forced to cancel their mounts after the fourth race Friday due to suffering injuries when striking a post at the five-eighths pole. Mundena arm was injured while Phillips hurt his foot. It was believed that a bone in Mundena arm may have been broken.
