KIKE BEI.I.E improved her position when put under pressure passing the elliow and finished fast. COMPANION saved much ground. PR. JIM CLAHKEN raced evenly. RUBIGNY was kept under pressure to the final turn of the field and finished well. ROONEY was taken back off the pace and moved up fast when called upon, but tired at the end. VOLUNTEER gained some ground. ARC LIGHT raced well. KLEEOER, on the outside, lost his stirrup irons and could not do his mount justice until too late.
