TOMBEREAU, under hustling tactics, raced into prominence at once and, disposing of SWKET SENTIMENT before reaching the stretch, moved into a good lead and held the race safe for the last eighth. SWEET SENTIMENT was well up throughout and finished gamely when hard urged. WHO WIN had to overcome some early interference, but saved much ground during the stretch and finished gamely. HERNAN COKTES showed a good performance and tired slightly during the last eighth. Silt AKGO raced wide after the first quarter. SAM COLE was well up most of the way. 1.AHRONH came from far hack in the last quarter. Scratched — 37392 Camp Boss, 115; Beaver Boy, 115. Overweight — Sam Cole, 21 pounds. RED LEATHER, hard hustled and bumping her way through at the first turn, took command in the first quarter and. well ridden, held sway thereafter. FRANCES ROCK, prominent throughout, finished gamely. HAZEL DENSON saved much ground on the back stretch and held on well when hard urged in the stretch. TOM BYRNE tired and came again in the stretch. HELEN E.. under a had ride, suffered much interference at the first turn and was forced wide most of the way, bnt closed a big gap. AL GARNET quit badly. DONNA SANTA tired in the stretch. PASKAI.ONK suffered repeatedly by interference and was eased np in the last sixteenth. MAKE BELIEVE raced well for half a mile. MISS PEARL w:is prominent most of the way. NICODEMLS showed a poor effort and was badly outrun. JUDGE HAY gave way completely after reaching the stretch. DOWAilAC showed good sjieed; was raced into a Ion;: lead in the first three-quarters and began tiring after reaching the last eighth. CANAAN, badly ridden, was taken far out of it in the first quarter and failed badly when tailed on.
