I LATONIA TURF NOTES LATONIA, Ky., June 26. Jockey W. Lauscher, after serving a suspension for ten days, resumed riding this afternoon. Jockey A. Abel packed his tack and left by motor for Windsor, where he will ride as a free lance. Danny Miller came in with his plater Tchadar from Bainbridge and brought along two horses, the property of Charles Nolte. The latter were turned over to J. Mosby. Jockeys H. Schutte, K. Hoffman and Earl Pool are leaving Saturday night for Arlington Park. Jockey Nick Huff has been engaged to ride Hieatt Brothers Chariot in the Cincinnati Trophy Saturday. A, Baker, trainer of the R. S. Clark stable, does not expect to start the good filly Current in the Latonia Oaks on the closing day. Tentatively he has decided to point her for the Alabama Stakes at Saratoga, in August, and it may be that she will enjoy a short respite from hard training before being prepared for that engagement. H. Neusteter, who is assembling a formidable stable for racing at Windsor and other Canadian tracks, this morning acquired the plater Cideon from Otto Terrell. The transaction was private. Major Tom, the candidate of Desha Breckinridge, was under a drive to complete three-• piarters in 1 :H%. He worked with the older Broadside, which continued out an additional iuarter 1 :40 for the best work over a mile during the meeting. W. EL Whitehouses Take Off was sent three furlongs in :36 and the udley Farms Royal Yeoman a like distance in :35%.
