I CANADIAN TURF NOTES g - $ HAMILTON, Ont., June 26. G. W. Foreman, who was confined to his quarters at the Royal Connaught Hotel for the past week due to kidney trouble, recovered enough to be on hand for todays racing at the local track. Jockey F. Sitae departed for Windsor, to be on hand for the opening of the Devonshire meeting, Thursday. Trainer J. Hutton, who is training the racers owned by Ryland H. New of Hamilton, will have his string augmented with the arrival of two horses that were left in Montreal. The shipment leaves this evening and includes Tender Bud and Aymond. Harry Giddings. Jr., took Sweepster, the high-priced speedster, from the Harry C. Hatch Stable, out of retirement this morning, and will prepare the big son of Sweep for a fall campaign. Campanini, which pulled up lame in his last race at Blue Bonnets, has been shipped to the Hatch Farm at Agincourt, in North Toronto. Two good steeplechasers in the Queen City Stable, namely. The Red Knight and Irish Jug, will be taken up shortly by trainer C. McCleary to be put back in training for the fall meeting of the Ontario Jockey Club. If in good condition following the meeting, a campaign will likely be made during the Maryland season. J. Nelson Day checked in from Toronto with the racers Carey, a four-year-old gelding, and Rocknealon, a two-year-old filly. «.
