HANCOCK BUYS MORE LAND LEXINGTON, Ky., April 3. Arthur B. Hancock, master of Claiborne Stud, near Paris, and of the noted Ellerslie Stock Farm, in Virginia, continues to add acreage to his already large land holdings adjacent to his Bourbon County estate. Mr. Hancocks latest purchase is a tract of about eighty-two acres, a part of the John C. Clay estate, which he acquired from Dan Turney Clay, at a private price. This land adjoins lands acquired by Mr. Hancock from Mrs. J. Miller Ward and Mrs. William Grimes, the latter tract being known as the Junius Clay home place, with a wide frontage along the Paris and Winchester road. Claiborne Stud, with its great expanse of more than 2,000 acres of the most fertile land in central Kentucky, is one of , the interesting show places of the Blue Grass.
