OWNERSHIP OF BAHR GATE Chicago Business Mens Racing Association Has No Financial Interest in Machine. Attention has been called to an article from Havana, Cuba, which appeared in Daily Racing Form of March 25, wherein it was erroneously stated that the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association was the exclusive owner of the Bahr starting gate. According to Albert Sabath, attorney for the Bahr Starting Gate Corporation, the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association was the first to use the Bahr gate, but has no financial interest in the starting machine, which will be used on all Chicago tracks this year. Attorney Sabaths statement follows : "As attorney and adviser to the Bahr Starting Gate Corporation, I am very pleased to say that the prospects for 1930 are very bright for the Bahr gate, and from all indications, it will very soon become standardized on all American race tracks and universally adopted. "The Bahr Starting Gate Corporation has now developed a small starting machine to be used on breeding farms, which will enable owners and trainers to school their youngsters from the first time they start, even in training. "The Chicago Business Mens Racing Association was the first to use the Bahr gate and its experience with it has demonstrated the many advantages of the Bahr machine. The said association has no financial interest in the said Bahr Starting Gate Corporation."
