ENTRIES TO 0. J. C. FUTURES Generous Response to Breeders and Maple Leaf Stakes, to Be Run in 1931. TORONTO, Ont., April 3. Nomination lists for two AVoodbine Park futures, the Maple Leaf Stakes and Breeders Stake, of 1931, made public by the Ontario Jockey Club yesterday, show fifty-eight entered for the former and sixty-one for the latter. Both are Canadian-bred races, the Mapla Leaf for three- and four-year-old fillies and the Breeders for three-year-olds of both sexes. Entries closed March 14. Following are the conditions and list of nominations and their owners in botli events : DKEEDEHS STAKE, ,000 ADDED. BREEDERS STAKE, for three-year-olds foaled in the Dominion of Canada in 1928, and owned there at time of starting. By subscription of each to accompany entry, and 0 additional to start, with ,000 added, of which ,000 to second horse, 00 to third and 50 to fourth. The breeder of the winner to receive 00. AVeight 122 pounds. AVinners of ,000 to carry three pounds extra, of ,000, five pounds extra. Non-winners of ,000 allowed five pounds ; of ,000, allowed seven pounds ; maidens allowed ten pounds. No allowance for geldings. One mile and a sixteenth. To be run during the year 1931 as the Ontario Jockey Club may direct, probably at the spring meeting.
