CLOSE TRACK FOR SUMMER Fair Grounds Course to Be Clear of Horses by Saturday Daily Shipments. XEW ORLEAXS. La., April 3. Arrangements for the closing of the Fair Grounds course for the summer was practically completed Thursday. It was said that all of the stables will have departed for points Xorth by the week-end. The lone exception will be the horses which William Hurley campaigned here for E. R. Bradley and the quartet he disposed of to H. C. Hatch several weeks ago. Jack Howard and H. C. Kiddie are the only horsemen who still have their charges at the Louisiana Jockey Clubs course. . Kiddle is scheduled to ship to Jamaica Saturday, while Howard is booked for departure to Lexington today. Jack Hanover, who trains the J. H. Man-heimer string, vacated the Fair Grounds yesterday morning, transferring his string to Jefferson Park, where they will remain until shipment to Washington Park. R. H. Wesselman disposed of Tom Cag-win to Dr. Savin, local man, at private sale yesterday.
