f LEXINGTON TURF GOSSIP f $ LEXINGTON, Ky., April 29. Jockey Carl Meyer is to come here from Louisville Wednesday to ride J. J. Greelys Cherry May in the Hinata Stakes. Meyer is with the stable of Mrs. Emil Denemark, quartered at Churchill Downs. Harry Hart took up George Collins Uptime, Sesqui and Evie, a two-year-old, which have been running out at their owners farm. Three others will be put in training within a few days and the Collins stable of twenty-eight horses goes to Falrmount Park on Tuesday. Jockeys H. Thomas and R. Cramer will continue to do the stables riding during the Collinsville track meeting. Ben Walters, trainer of the L. J. Lang stable, was called to Latonia by the sudden death of J. F. McCormack, his father-in-law. Mr. McCormack was well known to horsemen throughout the country and news of his demise came as a shock to his many friends here. Otto W. Lehmann, president of the Ailing-ton Jockey Club, will leave Friday for Chicago. His stable here, in charge of W. Pinch, will campaign at Churchill Downs before going to Washington Park, then to Arlington. "
