TIMON, possessing good speed when leaving the barrier, was kept under pressure in the early running, resisted repeated challenges from YANKEE DOODLE and outstayed the latter in the final drive. YANKEE DOODLE, hard hustled all the way. tired inside the final eighth. SUN FALCON broke slowly, made up a lot of ground early and was held safe near the end. MORLEY was unable to threaten the leaders. KING KELLY wtnt well. ANGRY broke slowly and was never prominent. lEUFECT PLAY had early speed. Won driving; second and third the same. RASPBERRY, permitted to race under slight reserve to the first turn of the field, responded fast, went into an easy lead when BROWN STOUT almost lost his rider at the last fence and drew away. MY CARE began slowly, was forced to circle her opponents to secure racing room and finished with good speed. BUOWN STOUT went into an easy lead after the third jump and. restrained in front, looked like a winner until the last jump, where he landed badly and almost lost his rider. POPLAR CREEK was unable to improve his position and showed a good trial. FItlAR McGEE jumped in good fashion. HORICON struck several of his fences. I500TL.VND was under pressure and had no" mishaps. STALKER lost his rider at the thirteen fence. FRIEND FRANK fell at the twelfth obstacle and DANGEROUS lost his rider at the eleventh. FLAVIUS fell at the third. BLIND LANE forced a good pace for three-eighths and then tired. ARIES raced 1 evenly. NURSERY PLAY had brief speed. GREEN LIGHT could never get into a forward position. Ill-lit GRACE, following in nearest pursuit of POINCIANA, raced up to the latter swiftly entering S the stretch, was sharply impeded by the latter when kIio bore out, continued gamely and just lasted to stall off ST. PRISCA. The latter moved up with a rush approaching the stretch and, finishing gamely, just failed to get up. POINCIANA set a good pace, saved ground until straightened out in the stretch, l where she began to tire and, swerving to the outside suddenly, bumped into HER GRACE. ENID was s always outrun. KEYDET, rated off the pace, made up ground steadily, but could not overtake the winner. CUDGELLER, restrained early, was held safe when the final drive came. CELERITAS saved ground all the way, was put under punishment, but was unable to threaten the leaders. AOYAGE showed speed for a mile and retired.
