OUR FANCY, well suited by the going and showing speed, maintained a slight early advantage under restraint and. responding fast when called upon, drew away into decisive command and won easily. K. RUSSELL worked his way up with a big loss of ground, stumbled on the stretch turn and held on well. DYAK, always close up. went to the inside in the stretch and closed gamelv. HORACE tired. GOLD TIP had no mishaps. PRINCE TOMMY was outrun. UFORME. racing in her best form and much the best, began, fast and, drawing clear approaching the stretch, continued fast and won under restraint. MY HOBBY, close up, raced a trifle wide for the firmer footing and, closing gamely, wore down HAMILTON and outstayed GETTIN EVEN. The latter, away slowly, raced wide and closed ground on the outside in the stretch. HAMILTON, taken back, tired in the final drive. BEIGE showed early speed. ESTIN failed to respond when hard urged. BUTTER BEANS took the lead with a rush and, easily withstanding IMA HIGHONE, maintained good speed, drew away fast in the final eighth and won under restraint. I SAY lost much ground, but improved his position, but was not cood enough. PIROGUE saved ground on the turn and closed fast. MEMORANDUM was in close quarters on the first turn. IMA HIGHONE showed speed and tired in the last eighth. MARCA-SITE failed to respond when clear and was hard urged in the stretch. SANS COIN showed early speed. CRAZY COOT showed speed from the start, held on stubbornly for an eighth, then tired AGINCOURT. fractious at the post, but away well, raced wide and tired after reaching the last three-sixteenths. FOOTMARK was on the inside throughout and weakly ridden. ZACA-WEISTA was done after goinc half a mile. OVERLAY showed a verv dull performance. BEST MAN, close up from the start, was under brisk pressure after going half a mile and tired, but outstayed KENASHAW. The latter raced wide, but closed boldly. MIKE HALL began well, but dropped far out of it and closed much ground in the stretch. THISTLE FYRN tired. STARS AND BARS was done after reaching the turn. HERRICK raced well and held on gamely. CHANCELLOR stumbled entering the back stretch and dropped far out of it after half a mile. LONG RUN was always far back.
