AURORA TURF NOTES $ — AURORA, 111., May 11. Maestro appeared on the track for the first time this morning and pulled up sore after being exercised. Jockey Richard led the riders in money earned during the past week. Jockey A. Pendergrass was second and W. Day third. Jockey H. Roble returned from Kansas City and was seen in the saddle today. Jockey J. Leyland injured his wrist while riding Friday, and was absent from the saddle Saturday and today. The feature race tomorrow will be known as the Golden Gloves Claiming Handicap. It is scheduled for one mile and seventy yards.
