C. D. STEVENS AN ARRIVAL AURORA, 111., May 11.— C. D. Stevens, who will officiate as starter at the coming meeting at Danville, has arrived and will act as superintendent of the track until a regular superintendent is appointed. Commencing Tuesday he will take charge of a large gang of men getting the track in proper shape for the opening day. The Big Four and C. E. and I. will run daily trains out of Terre Haute and Indianapolis commencing opening day. May 30, direct to the track.
