NECKPIECE closed fast on the outside in the stretch. SHASTA SUN showed good speed, but tired in the last eighth. ED L. closed much ground in the last half of the race. QUICK THINKER tired. NUCKOLS BOY worked his way up on the outside in the stretch and was rapidly overhauling the winner. SLY POLLY closed a big gap and finished fast. NONENICER raced close up throughout and held on fairly well. ONE GRAND tired in the stretch, as did YARGEE. EUPHRATES finished with a belated rush. BROWN ERIN quit badly in the last eighth. MORROLL and BRIGHT COMET tired fast in the last quarter. SANDALS closed mu.-h ground The others were always outrun.
