: 5 r i r - r 3 - , i I LATONIA TURF NOTES $ # LATONIA, Ky., June 16. Frank Behring arrived from Bainbridge Park with one horse. He was quartered in the Long barn, occupied by C. Gregory, C. Grayson, H. Massey and George Gould. Stalls were bedded for the horses trained by I* C. Railey, Joe Chinn and Grover Hughes, which are due from Lexington to-3 morrow. George Chancellor, agent for A. P. Canale, arrived from his home at Stanford, Ky., where he enjoyed a short rest after the conclusion of the Churchill Downs meeting. Chancellor plans to leave for Wash ington Park to witness the American Derby and then will return to Latonia. Al Thomas has the Canale horses here. F. W. Fletcher notified the management that he was bringing fifteen of the George Collins horses here June 25. They are now quartered at Washington Park. T. L. Pierce, who motored to Lexington to look over the forty yearlings Tom Piatt has at his Brookdale Farm, stated that Mr. Piatt has some grand looking sons and daughters by the fashionable sires Bunting, Macaw, Pataud and Blondin. Piatt, as usual, sends his produce to the Saratoga market. John Daniels will leave by motor for Washington Park Fridey to take in the American Derby. He expects to return Sunday.
