f LAT0NIA TURF NOTES I 4 ■ g LATONIA, Ky., June 16. Robert W. "Bob" Saxton, turf editor for the Cincinnati Enquirer, succeeds the late Joe Nelson as sporting editor of the McLean publication. Saxton s column in the All Sorts section of the Sunday edition, as well as his review of the racing, is read by turf fans and his promotion was every pleasing to his great number of friends. Former jockey J. Roberts arrived from Lexington with the two-year-olds Better Fly and Letter H., which are the property of L. C. Railey. In the same van were the older horses Stone Mason and Lady Baker, and the two-year-old Mink. They are the property of J. H. Guy and will be trained by C. K. Jackson. F. C. McAtee arrived from Lexington with five horses and Pete Sheffel came from the same place with an equal number. Joe Chinn unloaded six two-year-olds that are the property of M. N. Porter. _ — .
