Won driving; second and third the same. STARCH worked his way up next to the inner rail in the stretch and, finishing gamely, got up in the closing strides. DRY NATION, a factor throughout, held on well. OBERON improved his position in the stretch while racing on the outside. BLUE JOHN showed the. most speed until midway of the stretch, then tired. TEMPS DAMOUR had no excuses showed a fairly good performance. FOXY SETH closed ground. ORESTES II. tired. FALLEN LEAF, close up throughout, disposed of the others in the closing stages. PRINCESS EVOL showed the most early speed, but tired and barely saved third place. DODIE LEIGHTON had fio excuses. SKY HIGH raced on the outside most of the way. INDIAN ROSE II. stumbled and fell midway of the stretch. PRIMLIN, ZEBRA and HILDA A. fell over her. BABY BANE set a fast pace until midway of the stretch and was doine her best at the end to save second place. ESPLANADE raced forwardly throughout and held on fairly well. DECLINE finished fast. WOODEN SOLDIER tired. RED VEST began slowly and could not cet up. TRUEMAN quit. The others were outrun throughout. NECKPIECE came again in close quarters between horses in the final eighth and finished gamelv. LEADER raced well until midway of the stretch, then tired. The others were always outrun. WOODGAIN was taken back off the pace entering the back stretch, came again on the outside on the stretch turn and wore down RED NAN in the last seventy yards. RED NAN took command on the far turn, held on well in the final drive, but failed to withstand the winner. PRINCESS ISABEL raced torwardly throughout and outlasted THOMAS PATRICK. The latter held on fairly well although tiring. ICARUS was under restraint and raced on the outside most of the way and raced wide on the stretch turn, as did BILLY DORAN.
