OSCILLATION began slowly, but raced into a contending position with a rush, was taken under light restraint for a short distance on the turn and, responding gamely when hard urged, wore down the leaders and won drawing out. NEWGRO, a factor from the start, quickly disposed of PROVIDENCE LASS after three-eighths and held on fairly well. DELVEN lost much ground and swerved repeatedly while closing gamely. PROVIDENCE LASS, quick to get going, saved ground and tired after showing speed to the final three-sixteenths. WATERHEN raced evenly. BEAUTY SECRET was outrun. CLASBYS CHOICE and PRINCE SWEEP were knocked out of it in the first eighth. The latter, hustled along from the start, drew into a clear lead entering the last quarter, but tired badly near the end. ANNAPOLITAN began well, saved ground and could not ;;et up. BACHELORS TOY was forced to lose ground. RIVER FOREST, away poorly, closed fast. HIGH COLOR showed early speed. STIMULATE and FIALA were away in a bad tangle. AT SUNRISE, much the best and away fast, was taken back before reaching the turn, moved around UMA with a rush and, continuing fast, won drawing out. PRINCESS IVRE, never far back, held on well. TRIASSIC saved much ground on the turn and, closing gamely, outfinished UMA. The latter showed speed, was taken to the inside on the turn, then tired. PORTERS DREAM showed an even performance. PANCHIO, having racing room throughout and on the outside in the final three-eighths, responded strongly when briskly shaken up after entering the stretch and, working his way up fast, headed TOMBEREAU and drew out rapidly in the final sixteenth. The latter showed speed from the start, increased his advantage after reaching the stretch, but could not withstand the winner. PORTMANTEAU, under strong urging, after a quarter, closed gamely. VERY WELL tired badly after five-eighths. FLYING PLUM had a rough race. ABDEL met interference shortly after the start, but lacked speed when clear and tired in the stretch. OUTBURST began slowly, closed ground on the stretch turn and, while best of the others, could not threaten the leaded FLYING CHEROKEE showed a good performance. KENASHAW began very slowly. THISTLE LAD showed speed from the start, went gamely under hard urging and wore down FAIR ROSALIND in the final strides. The latter set an exceptionally fast pace and tired when challenged BUNCH OF LILIES began slowly. TELA had no mishaps. ROYAL SON tired in the stretch. SHOW DOWN had early speed. BOB ROGERS was done early.
