WINNERS AT ROYAL ASCOT ASCOT, England, June 19.— Sir J. Rutherfords Orpen won the Hardwicke Stakes today. Lord Howard de Waldens Rose en Soleil was second and A. de Rothschilds Armagnac finished third. Eleven horses ran. The American entry, Codicil, owned by Mrs. C. Glorney, did not place. W. Smiths Heronslea won the Wokingham Stakes, over the six furlongs route. Tommy Atkins, owned by W. Sears, was second and Lord Glanleys Lansdowne third in the twenty-two-horsc field.
