I WASHINGTON PARK NOTES I 8 _ HOMEWOOD, 111., June 19. Jockey C. Quattlebaum accompanied G. W. Foreman from the East and will remain throughout the Arlington Park meeting. H. Cavanaugh will ship one carload of horses to Latonia Sunday night and the remainder of his stable to the Covington track during the final week of the meeting. The R. C. Thatcher stable, trained by W. Sims, gets away for Latonia next Wednesday night. The unfortunate Sweep All and others of the Charles T. Fisher and H. P. Gardner horses, trained by Clyde Van Dusen, will be loaded for shipment to Latonia Sunday night. Van Dusen will keep Sweep All at Latonia for a short time before sending him on to his owners Dixiana Farm, where he will run out until next spring. Sidney Brown distributed stable registration blanks for the Arlington Park Jockey Club here today. Horsemen are urgently requested to file registrations without delay. Kentucky visitors for the Derby who arrived in time to witness todays racing included Ernest Thompson, Lexingtons popular and capable police chief. Desha Breckinridge, Lexington publisher and associated with Jouett Shouse in the ownership of the Braedalbane, Stable, was among the numerous arrivals from Kentucky. Maurice Galvin, vice-president of the Latonia Jockey Club, was among the vanguard of Derby visitors from greater Cincinnati.
