TWENTY GRANDS 1932 DEBUT Champion of Last Year in All Probability Will Make His Bow at Arlington Park. Twenty Grand, generally accepted as not only the outstanding three-year-old, but best horse of 1931, will do his first important racing of the coming season at Arlington Park, it was announced by Major Louie A. Beard, who manages the vast breeding and racing interests of Mrs. Payne Whitney, owner of the Greentree Stable and the great son of St. Germans and Bonus. "Twenty Grand is galloping in splendid fashion at Mrs. Whitneys training grounds in New Jersey under the direction of trainer Willie Brennan," Major Beard said, "and he will be brought to hand slowly with the Stars and Stripes and Arlington Handicaps and Arlington Gold Cup as his objectives during July. "There is a possibility, if the colt trains smartly, that he will make his first start of the year in the Brooklyn Handicap at Aqueduct, but if he does not, he can be depended upon at Arlington Park, where we hope his opponents may include Mate, Jamestown and even Phar Lap," Major Beard added.
