CALGARY RACING SATURDAY j CALGARY, Alta., May 18.— The thorough* bred racing season in western Canada open-Saturday at Victoria Park, Calgary, under the rule of the Prairie Thoroughbred Breeders and Racing Association. This governing body is fully recognized by The New York Jockey Club. After the legal limit o_ seven days at Victoria Park the scene will shift to the mile Chinook Park track, ot which H. R. H. The Prince of Wales is pa« tron, thus giving Calgary fourteen days ot racing by June 8. George W. Schilling ia presiding steward, Robert S. Shelley is rac-ing secretary, James Donovan is starter and R. James Speers is general manager.
