AMERICAN DERBY PRICES Since the enforced withdrawal of Burgoo King from the American Derby, on account of a bowed tendon, G. D. Wideners filly Evening, and Economic, who finished second to Burgoo King in the Kentucky Derby and recently won the Ohio State Derby, hold, jointly, the position of favorite in the future book made by Tom Kearney of St. Louis. Kearney offers 3 to 1, 3 to 2 and 7 to 10 against Evening and Economic. Boatswain, at 4 to 1, is second choice. Faireno, winner of the Belmont Stakes, and the Whitney filly Top Flight, are quoted at 6 to 1, 3 to 1 and 3 to 2. Ten to one is offered against Osculator, Stepenfetchit, On Post and Gusto.
