GALLANT KNIGHTS FAST WORK HOMEWOOD, 111., June 13. Gallant Knight was seen in another near sensational trial on the Washington Park track today. The son of Bright Knight, pointing for the 0,000 added Francis S. Peabody Memorial Handicap, to be run on the closing day of the meeting, rattled off a mile in 1:39 and cantered out a mile and one-eighth in 1:54. He ran the half mile in :49, and three-quarters in 1:13. Other eligibles for the Peabody worked during the morning included Paul Bunyan, mile in 1:45 handily, and Pittsburgher, five-eighths in 1:03. breezing.
