I LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES $ The Canadian-bred Manotacks will be sent back to the Cochenour farm at Waterdown, Ont, and freshened up. Harry Giddings departed for Connaught Park after saddling Froth Blower in the Chatham Purse at Long Branch. Olan C. will be shipped from Woodbine within the next few days to Montreal to take part in a hunt race at that point. Condition books for the Dufferin Park meeting, which opens next Saturday, were distributed among horsemen at Long Branch. The Seagram Stable will be shipped to Hamilton at the conclusion of the Long Branch meeting to await the opening of that meeting. The following horses comprise the schooling list at Long Branch: Trickys Son, Babe Gaiety, Bald Crest, Pelorus, Tricky Colonel, Atlas, The Tout, Zeal, Golden Light, Tinge, Thunderdrop, Mintmagi and Bold Bendigo. Jockey Lou Schaefer accepted his first mount of the meeting astride Lady Worth-more in the first race Monday. Schaefer is the first string rider for the W. H. Wright stable. He .will accompany the stable to Hamilton at the conclusion of the present meeting.
