DADE PARKS 1932 DATES I i i t y- - Twenty-Five Days of Racing Contemplated From August 13 to September 10, Inclusive. .T LATONIA, Ky., June 13 James C. Ellis, president of the Dade Park Jockey Club, will ask for dates for a twenty-five day meeting for the western Kentucky track when the racing commission meets here. Mr. Ellis wants to start August 13, or two weeks following the close" of the. Latonia meeting, and run until September 10, or the Saturday -after Labor Day. Dade Park had twenty-two days last year. Although he has hot made Renown the officials for this season, they probabiy will be the same as last year. Thomas C. Bradley has served as presiding steward since Ellis purchased the track. Last year J. J. Graddy was associate steward; BrownelL Berryman, racing secretary-and associate steward; William Hamilton, starter, and N. H. McClelland clerk of the scales. Berryman, Graddy and McClelland also serve as placing judges. With the opening of the new bridge across the Ohio River at Dade Park, July 4, Mr. Ellis looks forward to the best meeting ever held at the popular western Kentucky track. Dade Park will be benefited this year with the cut in the state license. Heretofore the track paid ,500 daily. This year the license will be 00 daily, the same as Lexington.
